The latest update from Captain Kip Louttit at the Marine Exchange of Southern California finally shows vessel traffic improving at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
As of Thursday, Feb. 25, there was an across the board decline in the total vessels (including containerships) in-port, at anchor, and at berth.
Heading into the weekend, there are “25 vessels scheduled to arrive and anchor in the next 3 days and 30 vessels scheduled to shift from anchor to a berth. So, the total level of vessels at anchor should continue to decline over the next 3 days,” reported Captain Louttit.
